Chief Medical Officer Kulgam Visits Disability Board and District Hospital to Review Health Infrastructure

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Kulgam, Dr. Shaukat Hussain Parray, conducted an extensive visit today to the Disability Board and the District Hospital Kulgam. The visit was aimed at assessing the functioning and overall condition of the health infrastructure in the main town of Kulgam.

During his inspection, Dr. Parray interacted with medical staff and patients, emphasizing the importance of efficient healthcare delivery and the need to maintain high standards of service. He reviewed the facilities available at the District Hospital, took stock of patient care services, and inspected the cleanliness and availability of essential medical supplies.

At the Disability Board, the CMO monitored the assessment process for specially-abled individuals and reviewed documentation and service protocols. He stressed the importance of transparent and prompt procedures to ensure timely benefits for eligible individuals.

Dr. Parray expressed satisfaction with several areas of functioning but also directed the concerned officials to address certain gaps to enhance service delivery further. He reiterated the health department's commitment to improving medical infrastructure and ensuring accessible and quality healthcare for all residents of Kulgam.

The visit reflects the district administration’s proactive approach in strengthening the health system at the grassroots level.
