Kulgam, July 14: Two individuals, including a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan, sustained injuries in a head-on collision between a Tata Mobile load carrier and a Maruti I20 on National Highway-44 near Malpora area of Kulgam on Monday, officials said.
An official stated that the accident occurred when the two vehicles collided head-on, resulting in injuries to BSF personnel Anand Mehta of the 37 Battalion and Mohd Shafi, a resident of Hawoora Qaimoh, who was driving the I20.
Kulgam Police promptly reached the scene and evacuated the injured to PHC Wanpoh for immediate medical attention.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further proceedings.
