DC Kulgam Visits Mata Tripur Sundari Khanbarni Devsar, Reviews Arrangements for Annual Kheer Bhawani Mela

KULGAM, June 02: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan (IAS), today visited the revered Mata Tripur Sundari temple at Khanbarni, Devsar, to review the arrangements for the upcoming Annual Kheer Bhawani Mela.
The visit aimed at ensuring that all necessary facilities are in place for the smooth and peaceful celebration of the religious event. Officers from key departments including KPDCL, Jal Shakti, Municipal Committee, Health, Fire & Emergency Services, CAPD, Revenue, and Police were present and briefed the DC on the preparedness and ongoing arrangements.
During the inspection, the DC instructed the concerned departments to work in close coordination and synergize their efforts to ensure a hassle-free experience for devotees. He emphasized the importance of timely and adequate provision of essential services such as electricity, water supply, sanitation, healthcare, and security.
Athar Aamir Khan also interacted with members of the Management Committee and devotees, extending his greetings and assuring full administrative support for the Mela.
The DC was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Viqar Ahmed Giri, ACR Reyaz Ahmad Shah, Tehsildar Devsar Rakib Ahmad, EO MC Devsar, SHO Devsar, BDO and other officers during the visit.
