DC Kulgam Visits Ganosargam, Provides Relief to Family of Lightning Strike Victim

Kulgam, May 05:Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan (IAS), today visited the village of Ganosargam to express solidarity with the family of Tariq Ahmad Padder, who tragically lost his life due to a lightning strike/cloud burst incident on Saturday.

During the visit, the DC handed over a relief cheque of Rs. 2 lakh to the bereaved family as immediate financial assistance from the district administration. He offered heartfelt condolences to the grieving family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.

DC Khan assured the family of all possible support and assistance from the administration during this difficult time. He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Viqar Ahmad Giri, Tehsildar Kulgam, and other concerned officials.
