DC Kulgam Visits Govt Higher Secondary School Nihama, Urges Students to Stay Focused, Reviews Infrastructure Development

KULGAM, MAY 15:Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan (IAS), today visited Government Higher Secondary School Nihama to assess the overall functioning and infrastructure of the institution.

During the visit, the DC interacted with students and staff, emphasizing the importance of dedication, discipline, and consistency in both academic and personal growth. He encouraged students to stay focused on their goals and make full use of the educational resources and opportunities available to them.

Highlighting the transformative power of education, the DC shared insights on effective goal setting, time management, and building self-confidence. He also commended the faculty for their commitment and assured them of the district administration’s continued support in addressing both academic and infrastructural needs.

DC Khan also reviewed the progress of the ongoing construction work of a new school building. He instructed the Executive Engineer, R&B, to accelerate the pace of work and ensure its timely completion to enhance the learning environment for students.

The DC was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Viqar Ahmad Giri, SDM D.H. Pora Bashir Ul Hassan, Tehsildar, ZEO, and other concerned officers.
