In a highly delightful development, the Jammu and Kashmir lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha announced on 14 June , 2025 Saturday reopening of 16 of 48 tourist destinations that had been shut since the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, taking a significant step towards restoring normalcy.
The Pahalgam brutal terrorist attack which had taken precious lives had shaken the entire world. Whole Kashmir had erupted against the dastardly act by terrorists.
Tourism industry in Kashmir which had taken a huge blow post Pahalgam terror tragedy is delighted that slowly and steadily we are getting back on track.
With the Valley’s gushing water streams, the lush green meadows in bloom and security measures tightened, many believe the return of tourism can become the strongest rebuke to those who tried to damage it .
