DGP J&K Nalin Prabhat Conducts Security Review of Baltal Axis of Amarnath Yatra

July 8: Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Nalin Prabhat today conducted a comprehensive security review of the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra along the Baltal axis.

Accompanied by IGP Kashmir, DIG Central Kashmir Range, and other senior officers, the DGP assessed the overall security arrangements and operational preparedness in place for the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.

The high-level team visited key locations including Shadipora, Manigam, and Baltal Yatra camps, where they also reviewed pilgrim facilities and logistical support systems. The officers interacted with on-ground personnel to ensure coordination between civil and security agencies.

The DGP emphasized the importance of maintaining round-the-clock vigilance and facilitating a safe and peaceful pilgrimage experience for all yatris.
