District Administration Cracks Down on Illegal Constructions in Kulgam Town

Kulgam – May 6: In a firm move to curb unauthorized development, the District Administration Kulgam today served formal notices to several residents within the municipal limits of Kulgam town for carrying out illegal constructions and encroachments.

A joint enforcement team from the Revenue Department and Municipal Council Kulgam conducted an inspection drive and delivered the notices, giving violators a three-day ultimatum to remove the encroachments.

Authorities warned that non-compliance within the given timeframe would lead to strict legal action, including demolition of the illegal structures and imposition of penalties under the law.

The district administration reiterated its commitment to regulating urban growth and ensuring that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with municipal norms and building regulations.
