Eid-ul-Adha Prayers Offered Peacefully in Kulgam

Kulgam, June 7: On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, thousands of devotees gathered across various parts of Kulgam district to offer the special Eid prayers in a spirit of devotion and unity early Saturday morning.

Major congregational prayers were held at prominent Eidgahs and mosques, where people from different areas and backgrounds came together to mark the holy festival. Religious scholars led the prayers and delivered sermons emphasizing the values of sacrifice, compassion, and communal harmony.

Devotees prayed for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of humanity, seeking divine blessings for a better future. The atmosphere was filled with spirituality and brotherhood as people exchanged warm Eid greetings and embraced each other.

The district administration, in coordination with the police, had made elaborate security and traffic arrangements to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the prayers.

Eid-ul-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, honors the profound faith and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and serves as a reminder of the importance of submission to the will of Allah and caring for the less fortunate.
