Kulgam, July 17: In a significant step towards empowering local youth, a special guidance session for civil services aspirants was held today in Kulgam, drawing enthusiastic participation from over fifty students aiming for competitive exams like the UPSC and JKPSC.
The session featured two eminent speakers—Mir Vaibo Sans, a renowned tutor known for his mentorship in competitive examinations, and Shri Anand, a serving Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer. Both experts volunteered their time and shared invaluable insights on exam strategies, time management, and maintaining motivation throughout the rigorous preparation journey.
The interactive event provided a platform for aspirants to directly engage with experienced mentors, ask questions, and gain clarity on various aspects of the civil services examination process. The speakers emphasized consistency, discipline, and a focused approach as key components of success.
The program was facilitated by Advocate Tahir Sahib, who played a pivotal role in organizing the session and ensuring its smooth conduct. His efforts were widely appreciated by the students and community members alike.
Local participants expressed gratitude for the initiative, calling it a “much-needed boost” for aspirants in the district. Such efforts, they said, help bridge the gap between rural talent and national-level opportunities.
Organizers hinted that similar sessions may be planned in the future to sustain the momentum and provide continued support to budding civil servants from the region.
