Today, Movement Kalki and Rashtriya Bajrang Dal jointly staged a strong protest in Jammu against increasing incidents of cow slaughter and animal trafficking. The protest was also in response to certain viral posts shared by news portals in Kashmir, where Gau Mata (Mother Cow) was being marketed as a sacrificial animal. Around 7 to 8 such portals have been identified for promoting such provocative content.
Additionally, the recent tragic incident in Samba—where an ASI was killed after being run over by a vehicle driven by animal smugglers—also became a key reason for this protest. Both organizations jointly warned the government and the office of the Lieutenant Governor to act swiftly and decisively, or else the people will be forced to take matters into their own hands.
Pritam Sharma, Advisor of Movement Kalki, stated:
"I couldn't sleep after watching such disturbing videos. It's shameful that in a city known for temples, cows are being sold for sacrifice. We demand strict legal action against those involved and insist they be put behind bars. Anyone hurting the sentiments of the Hindu and Sanatan communities must not be spared."
Rakesh Bajrangi, State President of Rashtriya Bajrang Dal (Jammu & Kashmir), said:
"We are law-abiding citizens who respect the Constitution, but the government is failing in its duties. Cow smuggling is happening in broad daylight, policemen are being attacked, and criminals roam freely. If the government cannot maintain law and order, hand over the responsibility to us—we will take care of it. We have dealt with such elements before and will do so again if needed."
Sanjeev Dubey, Core Committee Member of Movement Kalki, said:
"Identify the traitors and drive the Jaichands out of the country. We support the new internal cleansing mission launched by the Modi government and urge the Prime Minister to start this operation from Jammu and Kashmir. Movement Kalki will always stand by the government in the mission to save the nation."
At the conclusion of the protest, both organizations demanded strict and immediate action against those who insult the sanctity of Gau Mata, are involved in smuggling, or incite religious tensions in society.
Prominent attendees from Movement Kalki included Mohit Sharma, Pawan Sharma, Saurav Sharma, Pawan Manas, and other dedicated members from the National Cow Protection Committee. Senior members of Rashtriya Bajrang Dal were also present at the protest.
