In a major milestone for its organizational expansion in South Kashmir, the Justice and Development Front (J&K) officially inaugurated its first district office today in Bongam, Kulgam.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by the party's Chief Patron, Gh Qadir Lone, alongside JDF President Mr. Shamim Ahmad and other senior party leaders. The event drew a significant turnout of party members, local dignitaries, and residents, reflecting growing support for the party’s grassroots movement.
During the inauguration, the Justice and Development Front also announced the formation of the district managing body covering all three constituencies of Kulgam district. The body will oversee local party affairs and serve as a bridge between the people and the leadership.
Describing the launch as a "milestone in grassroots expansion," party leaders emphasized their commitment to justice, equitable development, and people-centric governance.
“Our presence in Kulgam is a step towards strengthening democratic engagement and bringing governance closer to the people,” said a senior party representative.
The newly inaugurated office will function as a local hub for public interaction, grievance redressal, and coordination of development initiatives. The party reiterated its focus on transparency, youth empowerment, and inclusive growth, vowing to deepen its connection with communities across Jammu and Kashmir.
