Minor Boy Critically Injured in Kulgam Road Accident

Kulgam, May 1: An 8-year-old boy was critically injured on Thursday morning after being hit by a load carrier in the Balsoo area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

According to an official, the minor, identified as Arhan Umar, a resident of Balsoo, was struck by the vehicle while attempting to cross the road. The driver of the load carrier acted swiftly and transported the injured child to the District Hospital Kulgam for immediate medical attention.

Given the severity of his injuries, doctors at the hospital referred Arhan to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Soura for advanced treatment.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation.
