In a swift and commendable operation, Jammu & Kashmir Police successfully traced three missing students from Udipora, Wadderbala Rajwar, and Handwara. The students, all enrolled at Sunrise Public School, Handwara, had gone missing in the early hours of Friday, causing widespread concern among their families and the local community.
According to officials, the students were reported missing around 1:00 AM on Friday. The search operation began immediately after the matter was brought to the attention of SSP Handwara, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Choudhary. Acting on specific leads, police teams were able to locate the students in the Jawahar Nagar area of Srinagar later the same day.
The families have expressed immense relief and gratitude, while the public has widely praised the police for their prompt and effective response.
