Devsar, May 29 – In a significant outreach initiative, MLA Devsar Peerzada Feroz Ahmad Shah today held a Public Darbar at Lammer Devsar to directly engage with residents and address their grievances. The event witnessed a large turnout, reflecting the community’s strong interest in voicing concerns and seeking redressal.
During the interactive session, locals raised issues spanning infrastructure, healthcare, education, water supply, and road connectivity. The MLA, accompanied by senior officials from departments including Public Works, Health, Education, Revenue, and Rural Development, ensured that several grievances were responded to on the spot.
Addressing the gathering, Peerzada Feroz Ahmad Shah emphasized the importance of responsive governance and instructed officials to act swiftly on issues that require urgent attention. He also reviewed the status of various ongoing development projects and called for timely completion, particularly where delays were flagged by the public.
“I am committed to ensuring that the voices of Devsar’s residents are heard and acted upon. Today’s Darbar is part of our continued effort to make governance more accessible, transparent, and accountable,” the MLA stated.
Locals appreciated the initiative, noting that such platforms offer a much-needed opportunity for direct interaction with the administration. The Public Darbar concluded with renewed assurances from officials and a call for collaborative efforts to improve public services in the region.
