Handwara, May 16: Handwara Police organized a Police-Public meeting at Police Post Zachaldara, which was attended by SSP Handwara, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhary, who was the chief guest on the occasion. Also present were ASP Handwara, Mr. Fayaz Hussain Geelani, SHO Handwara, Mr. Sofi Vilayat, and DO Zachaldara, Mr. Tawseef Ahmad.
The meeting witnessed the participation of members from the public, the Transport Association, Citizens Development Forum Rajwar, the Market President, as well as Lamberdars and Chowkidars of the area.
During the meeting, participants highlighted various grievances and issues faced by the local population. SSP Handwara patiently listened to the concerns raised and assured the public of appropriate redressal.
He also emphasized the importance of youth engagement and announced that Handwara Police will organize various sports activities for the youth of Zachaldara in the near future.
The initiative was widely appreciated by the attendees and reflected the police department’s commitment to strengthening public relations and community engagement.
