In Significant development, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who aldo holds the portfolio of the Tourism Minister, has called a meeting of his ministers, Chief Secretary, administrative Secretaries and other senior officers mainly from Kashmir, including Divisional Commissioner Kashmir and Inspector General ofPolice, Kashmir in Gulmarg on May 28, 2025.
As per an official communique, the Chief Minister will chair a meeting at 12 pm in Gulmarg and besides his cabinet ministers, his Advisor too will attend the meeting.Besides, Director Floriculture, Parks and Gardens, Kashmir; Director Sericulture, J&K; Director Social Welfare, Kashmir; Managing Director, J&K Power Development Corporation Limited; Deputy Commissioner Baramulla; Managing Director J&K Tourism Development Corporation; Director Information, J&K: DIG North Kashmir Range; Director Tourism, Kashmir; Senior Superintendent of Police, Baramulla; Managing Director Kashmir, Power Distribution Corporation Limited; Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir; Director Estates, Kashmir; Director School Education, Kashmir; Director, Handlooms and Handicrafts, Kashmir; Director Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir; Director Industries and Commerce, Kashmir; Director Rural Development, Kashmir; Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation and Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Gulmarg too have been asked to attend the meeting.
