Awantipora, May 20, 2025:

Authorities have attached the immovable property of a proclaimed terrorist handler, Owais Feroze Mir, a resident of Frestabal Pampore, in a significant crackdown against terror networks operating from across the border.

The land measuring 02 Marlas and 79 square feet, located at Drangabal estate in Frestabal Pampore, was attached under Section 88 of the CrPC. The action followed an attachment order issued by the Hon’ble Court of Additional Sessions Judge Pulwama (Special Designated Court under the NIA Act) and was executed today by revenue officials alongside Pampore Police, with the presence of local villagers.

Owais Feroze Mir, son of Feroze Ahmad Mir, has been declared a proclaimed offender in connection with FIR No. 42/2018 registered at Police Station Pampore under Sections 18, 20, and 38 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. He is currently based in Pakistan and has been actively involved in promoting terrorism, facilitating the infiltration of arms and ammunition, and attempting to revive local terror networks.

Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to taking strong action against individuals involved in terrorism, including those operating from foreign soil.
