KULGAM, MAY 18: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo, today undertook an extensive tour of the Damhal Hanjipora (DH Pora) Constituency, visiting several villages and hamlets to directly engage with residents and assess their concerns and development needs on the ground.
During the tour, the Minister interacted with local residents, community representatives, and Mohalla committees, gathering firsthand insights into issues ranging from healthcare and road connectivity to power and water supply.
Sakeena Itoo emphasized the government's commitment to grassroots governance and public service, underscoring the importance of being present and responsive to citizens' needs. “The present government is built on the vote and trust of the people. Our constant presence on the ground reflects our dedication to addressing public issues effectively,” she said.
She reassured the public that all genuine grievances and developmental demands will be taken up with urgency. “Public service is the core objective of this government, and every concern raised will be addressed promptly,” the Minister affirmed.
The tour is seen as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen direct communication with the people and ensure effective delivery of essential services across all regions.
