Reaffirms Omar Abdullah-Led Government’s Commitment to Citizen-Centric Governance

KULGAM, JULY 26:Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo today convened a large-scale Public Grievance Redressal Camp at Binimulla Chandergi in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, reaffirming the government's resolve to strengthen grassroots-level governance and responsive administration.


Engaging directly with the local populace, the Minister patiently heard a wide range of grievances, demands, and developmental concerns raised by residents. She assured them of timely resolution through coordinated action among the concerned departments.


While addressing the gathering, Sakeena Itoo emphasized that the Omar Abdullah-led government is dedicated to transparent, accountable, and citizen-first governance. “Our focus remains on equitable development and the seamless delivery of essential services at the doorstep of every citizen,” she stated.


In a major relief for the area, the Minister announced the sanctioning of a ₹2.5 crore water supply scheme, aimed at resolving the longstanding drinking water issues faced by the community.


She further assured the public that all developmental promises made by the government would be fulfilled in a phased and transparent manner, with a focus on inclusive growth.
