Coaching Camps Held for Volleyball, Handball, and Baseball

Sports fervor is running high in Kulgam as the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) intensifies its efforts to foster a vibrant sporting culture among the youth. Inter-zonal district-level tournaments in Volleyball, Handball, and Baseball are currently underway for boys and girls in the under-14, under-17, and under-19 age categories.
On the second day of the tournament, young athletes showcased remarkable skill, enthusiasm, and team spirit—highlighting the growing passion for sports in the region. The Sports Office Kulgam extended words of encouragement to the participants, urging them to stay committed and work hard, both on and off the field.
The tournaments have featured thrilling encounters and impressive performances, reflecting the department's success in engaging young talent at the grassroots level. The initiative aims not only to promote physical activity but also to identify and nurture athletes who can represent Kulgam at state and national platforms.
In addition to the tournaments, DYSS Kulgam is also conducting specialized coaching camps in Volleyball, Handball, and Baseball. These camps provide structured training under the guidance of experienced coaches, allowing participants to sharpen their techniques and develop competitive edge.
