Srinagar, July 11: Bhartiya Janta party senior leader and Shari Amarnath Yatra Welfare Society organisation Kashmir Incharge Tafazul Wani on Friday has issued a strong clarification regarding a recent suspension order that has been circulating on social media. The order claimed that Wani had been suspended from his role as the Social Media Incharge of the Bhartiya Janta Kisan Morcha (BJKM), J&K UT, with immediate effect.
Responding to the controversy, in an statement issued to media Tafazul Wani stated that the order is being used by certain individuals to defame him and create confusion among party workers and the public. "As per party norms, internal changes are made every three years. This is a routine process and not an act of disciplinary action or expulsion," Wani explained.
He further emphasized that the order being circulated is being misinterpreted and misused by miscreants with personal agendas. “Some people are intentionally spreading misinformation to mislead others and damage my reputation,” he said.
Wani added that he has already spoken with senior BJP leader and General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul Ji regarding the matter. "Ashok Koul Ji has assured me that the issue will be looked into, and the truth will be brought to light," he added.
Reaffirming his commitment to the party, Wani said he continues to work for the welfare of the people and the success of the Amarnath Yatra arrangements, in line with the BJP's core principles of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, aur Sabka Prayas."
Wani urged his supporters and the public not to fall prey to false narratives and to remain united in serving the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
