Tehsildar Visits Shrine on the Directions of Deputy Commissioner to Review Urs Arrangements

Kupwara, June 10:

On the directions of the Worthy Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Tehsildar Drugmulla today visited the revered Ziyarat Sharief at Muqam Shah Wali to review the arrangements for the annual Urs Sharief being observed from June 10 to 11.

He was accompanied by the Officers/officials from all concerned line departments including RDD, Fire & Emergency Services, R&B, PHE, Health Department, Waqf Board, Police and others.

The inspection focused on ensuring proper sanitation, uninterrupted power and water supply, fire safety preparedness, effective crowd management, medical deployment, and overall convenience for the devotees.

Tehsildar Drugmulla issued necessary on-spot instructions to the concerned departments for immediate redressal of issues, aiming to ensure a smooth, respectful, and spiritually uplifting environment at the shrine

The administration reiterated its commitment to ensuring full preparedness and coordination for the successful conduct of religious events in the district.
