Ganderbal, July 14: Three personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured on Monday morning after their vehicle overturned near the Z-Morh Tunnel in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
According to a police official, the incident took place around 08:00 am when a vehicle bearing registration number HR 49J 6431, part of the downward convoy of the 44 Battalion CRPF deployed for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) duties, turned turtle while negotiating a stretch near the tunnel.
The injured troopers were immediately shifted to PHC Kullan, where they were given first aid. All three are reported to be out of danger, the official added.
Authorities have taken cognizance of the matter and are following necessary protocols. Further investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
