Traffic Awareness and Helmet Distribution Drive Held at Narbal

Narbal, May 16:In a continued effort to promote road safety, the Traffic Rural Kashmir wing today organized a Traffic Awareness cum Helmet Distribution Drive at Narbal Chowk, led by SSP Traffic Rural, Ravindra Pal Singh.

Accompanied by DySP Traffic Mujahid Nazir, the SSP spearheaded the campaign aimed at educating two-wheeler riders about the importance of wearing helmets and adhering to traffic regulations. As part of the drive, helmets were distributed among riders at the busy Narbal intersection.

While addressing the media, SSP Ravindra Pal Singh stressed the life-saving role of helmets. “Don't drive without helmets. It's a matter of life and safety,” he said, urging all commuters to strictly follow traffic rules to avoid accidents and safeguard lives.

The initiative drew enthusiastic participation from the local public and underscored the traffic department’s commitment to building safer roads through continuous awareness and enforcement activities.
