Menstrual Hygiene day is marked every year on May 28, is a very important day ,that throws light on the importance of promoting a proper menstrual hygiene practices throughout globe.


On this day the aim is to break the taboos around menstruation and carve a path that raises awareness about the challenges women and girls face in managing their menstrual health.

Therefore, it is essential to provide women and girls with access to affordable and sustainable menstrual products, as well as education and awareness about menstrual health.


We need to bear in mind that promoting menstrual hygiene requires a collective effort from governments, communities, and individuals. By working together, we can create a world where women and girls can manage their menstrual health with dignity and confidence. 


Today 2025 Menstrual Hygiene Day gives us all opportunity to make a difference and promote a culture of awareness and support.


We too in our country India should take all the measures to promote good Menstrual Hygiene.
