In a recent update, actor Saif Ali Khan is under recovery after suffering six stabs, two deep and one close to spine. Dr. Niraj Uttamani of Lilavati Hospital confirmed that the surgery was successful and a cosmetic surgeon also attended to his wounds. He is being kept under observation.
"He has six injuries, two of which are deeper. One of the injuries is closer to his spine," Dr Uttamani said.
According to reports, Saif got into a fight with a thief who broke into his house. He has multiple stab wounds and is admitted to Lilavati hospital. Reports further stated that Lokmat he has many injuries and is being watched.
Mumbai Police has confirmed that it was a thief who broke in at 4 am. Police are looking for the accused. Right now both Mumbai Police and Crime Branch team is at Saif Ali Khan’s residence, searching with CCTV footage. Saif’s servant tried to catch the thief and Saif woke up during the commotion.
Police in a statement said, “An unidentified person intruded in the residence of Actor Saif Ali Khan.The actor and the intruder had a scuffle. The actor is injured and is being treated. Investigation is going on." Mumbai Police and Crime Branch team is at Saif Ali Khan’s house in Bandra, Mumbai.
On work front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in Devara: Part 1 which was his Telugu debut. Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR were part of the film which was directed by Koratala Siva.
