Akash Anand, as a new BSP chief national coordinator

New Delhi , May 19 2025 : Mayamati , BSP chief  has appointed her nephew Akash Anand as the chief national coordinator of the BSP Party on  Sunday ,18 May .

As a chief national coordinator, he will work above the three national coordinator, thereby , elevating him to the virtual second in command position after the chief . This decision was taken at the party’s meeting of coordinators in Delhi .

On a social media platform of “X”(Twitter) Anand express his gratitude to Mayawati for bringing him into the BSP Organisational set up .

Anand said “I express my heartfelt gratitude to behen ji. She has forgiven my mistakes and has given me an opportunity to contribute in strengthening the Bahujan mission and movement”.

Anand's case was considered by the party fold  last month ,after he tendered a public apology and claimed  Mayawati as his only political guide.
