The Audit Week 2025 is in full swing with all the activities . The Comptroller and Auditor General of India under which the office comes has jurisdiction to audit all the expenditure of Government departments made for developments to ensure transparency and accountability in overall governance.

Our Department has same role here to be watchdog of entire process of Public finances of all the departments to ensure accountability in expenses meant for public welfare .

Why such long Audit Week this year 2025?
It's a pertinent question. It's due to multiple reasons that we are marking the Audit Diwas for two weeks. First and foremost the aim is to increase about realms of Audit among people and make them understand how it makes their lives better. Secondly, we are taking many initiative under Viksat Bharat and want to make people understand same .
Do you also have programmes related to student awareness and pensioners ?
Yes we have programmes on Audit Awareness targeting students and pensioners and all spheres of life making them understand how audit makes their lives better.
Be it pension adalats or seminars our focus remains the ease and awareness of masses through Audit.

Yes through constant awareness and multiple quality programmes more youth would be attracted to choose Audit as full fledged career.
