Anupam Kher Hails 'Operation Sindoor': Powerful Reply to Protect Our Women, Says Actor

Veteran actor Anupam Kher welcomed the Indian Armed Forces upon Operation Sindoor's success, when it hit nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir because of the Pahalgam terror attack. 

On social media, he adopted a very nationalist stance in favor of the army by saying "Bharat Mata Ki Jai #OperationSindoor" and that all those who try to taint the pride of India, symbolized by "our sisters' sindoor," will get a very tough response. His remark reflects pride and solidarity with the military's firm reaction against terrorism.

Operation Sindoor was described by the Ministry of Defence as a precise, measured, and non-escalatory strike targeting only terror infrastructure, avoiding Pakistani military installations. Operation Sindoor successfully destroyed key terrorist bases that carried out attacks on Indian soil. Bollywood personalities like director Vivek Agnihotri, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Madhur Bhandarkar also praised the armed forces and felt a sense of national pride following the strikes.

Anupam Kher's statement and the collective celebrity endorsement say it all regarding India's strong public and cultural backing for the war against terrorism and protection of national security in the wake of the dastardly Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 innocent lives.
