Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday morning attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and blamed the central ruling party for "destroying" education.
Making a jibe at the ruling party in connection with Gujarat model, he mentioned that the BJP is interested in making the whole nation "illiterate".
"This is the Gujarat model. This is the BJP model, and they wish to replicate it throughout the country. This is the double-engine model. They want to make the whole country illiterate. Tell me one state where they govern, and they have not wrecked education there," Kejriwal
former Delhi Chief Minister
posted on X.
He went on to contend that the BJP was "wrecking" education in Delhi as well.
"Under this model, they are now trying to wreck the education system of Delhi as well," Kejriwal said. He was reacting to a tweet posted by Samajwadi Party (SP)
chief Akhilesh Yadav pertaining to a news report that stated, "Zero students passed Class 10 in 157 schools." It should be mentioned that the news report was out in May 2023.
Yadav had tweeted on X, "The Gujarat model itself has failed.
Not a single student cleared the 10th board exam in 157 schools in Gujarat. We will oust BJP ano save the future!
On Friday, Kejriwal stated that the education system in the national capital has totally "fallen into the clutches" of the mafias under the BJP government after an alleged fee hike in a number of private schools recently.
Responding to the protest being organized in the schools over the recent fee increase, Arvind Kejriwal, in an X post, stated, "The people of Delhi are once again totally at the mercy of the education mafia. How dare the education mafia ill-treat our children?
Because the leaders and ministers are in their pockets --just like they used to be before our government took over."
Delhi AAP President Saurabh
Bharadwaj launched a strong attack on the BJP government and stated that the ruling party ministers have no idea about the attack on the bjp government and stated that ruling party ministers have no idea about the situation taking place in Delhi.
"Parents are protesting outside private schools, and BJP ministers are engaged in playing the 'government school-government school' game. They must go where the issue lies and fix it. But they are afraid of private school owners," he added.
