AURAIYA BUS ACCIDENT: 1 DEAD, SEVERAL INJURED

A bus carrying pilgrims to Mathura overturned on the Auraiya-Fatehgarh bypass road in the early hours of Tuesday, killing one woman and injuring several others.

The bus was carrying around 50 pilgrims when it overturned. The cause of the accident is still unknown.The injured people have been taken to a nearby hospital, where their condition is being monitored. They are said to be stable and are expected to make a full recovery.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased and ordered the best possible treatment for the injured. He has also directed the district administration to take steps to prevent such accidents from happening in the future.

At least 14 people have been killed and dozens more injured in a series of bus accidents in India in recent weeks.In one of the most recent accidents, a bus carrying pilgrims from Gujarat fell into a gorge in Uttarakhand on Tuesday, killing 7 people.

In another accident on Wednesday, a bus collided with a truck in Himachal Pradesh, killing 4 people and injuring 12.And on Thursday, a bus overturned in Jharkhand, killing 3 people and injuring 24.

The accident is a reminder of the need for safety measures on roads. The government must take steps to ensure that such accidents do not happen again.
