The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of rigging the results of the Panchayat polls in West Bengal. The BJP has staged a sit-in protest outside a counting center in Dakshin Dinajpur district, alleging that the TMC has brought criminals inside the counting center to help their candidates win. The BJP has also said that the Block Development Officer (BDO) is biased and is an agent of TMC.

The TMC has denied the allegations of rigging and violence, and has accused the BJP of trying to delegitimize the election results. The SEC has said that it is monitoring the counting process closely and that there have been no reports of any major irregularities.

The counting of votes for the 63,229 Gram Panchayat seats in West Bengal commenced at 8 am on Tuesday, with the TMC consistently leading the tally since the beginning. As the counting process progressed, the TMC maintained its initial advantage in the results.

The BJP has alleged that the TMC has been involved in violence during the polls, claiming that at least 45 people have been killed. The TMC has denied these allegations, and has said that the violence was perpetrated by the BJP and its supporters.

The SEC has said that it is investigating the allegations of rigging and violence. The commission has also said that it will take action against anyone found guilty of wrongdoing.

The panchayat polls in West Bengal were held on July 8.The results of the polls are expected to be announced later this week.

The results of the polls are expected to be announced later this week.
