Kulgam, Aug 11 — In a spirited display of patriotism, the Youth Services and Sports Department Kulgam today organised a vibrant Tiranga Bike & Cycle Rally as part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
Over 100 bikers from across the district participated in the rally, held to mark Independence Day celebrations and spread the message of unity and pride in the nation’s heritage.
The event was flagged off from Laroo Bus Stand by Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Athar Amir Khan, in the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner Viqar Ahmed Giri, DSP Headquarters Nisar Ahmad, senior district officers, and officials from the Youth Services and Sports Department.
Carrying the Tricolour, participants traversed a scenic route via Laroo Bypass and DPL Kulgam before concluding at the Mini Secretariat. The rally drew enthusiastic crowds along the way, reflecting the district’s collective spirit of freedom and national pride.
