Devotees are pouring in Prayagraj to take a holy dip in Triveni Sangam on Mauni Amavasya on January 29.
With the weekend and the day approaching, the city is seeing a huge influx of pilgrims from all directions, said officials.
Railway stations, bus stands and highways are full of pilgrims all heading to Sangam for holy dip.
On Friday and Saturday over 1.25 crore took a dip and the crowd is expected to increase further with 10 crore expected to take a dip on Mauni Amavasya, said officials.
To make the experience smooth for devotees, fair administration and Kumbh police are geared up.
To maintain order and to allow free movement of people, entire fair area has been declared as no-vehicle zone and barricades are being put up along the banks to manage the crowd.
Special arrangements have been made in all sectors and zones to facilitate the movement of devotees.
No special protocol will be followed during 'Amrit Snan' to give priority to public, said officials.
ICCC is operational to monitor the crowd and see that there is no gathering at Sangam Nose.
Quick response teams are deployed in high density areas to handle emergencies, all major routes are being watched.
Surveillance is also being done to track suspicious persons and prevent any mishap.
Campaign is being run against illegal shops set up by encroaching the fair area, sanitation workers have been instructed to keep the area clean, said officials.
All parking areas are operational and equipped with basic amenities for devotees. As per traffic plan, vehicles will first be directed to nearest parking zones and then to alternative parking areas, said a statement.
More than 2,000 new signages have been put up to guide the devotees to the right direction to make the journey smooth.
Devotees are advised to download the official fair chatbot which has all the information to make their journey easier.
In addition to the chatbot, Google navigation and on-ground policemen will assist the pilgrims in finding the correct routes, the statement said.
