Despite the cold, a big crowd of devotees gathered at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on Wednesday to take a holy dip in Mahakumbh.
Till today, around 8.81 crore people have taken a dip in Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. On Wednesday morning, morning Aarti was performed at Ghats.
Also, the state’s first double-decker bus restaurant ‘Pumpkin’ was launched in Maha Kumbh city on Monday.
The eatery has a kitchen on the ground floor and a dining area on the first floor that can accommodate 25 people to enjoy pure vegetarian food.
Interestingly, today UP government is holding a special Cabinet meeting in Prayagraj. All 54 ministers of UP cabinet have been invited to this meeting where many big proposals and schemes of the state will be approved.
After the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with entire cabinet will take a holy dip in Triveni Sangam. This is not the first time CM Yogi has taken his cabinet to the Sangam.
UP Minister AK Sharma also spoke about the cabinet meeting on January 22 and said, "Tomorrow we have a cabinet meeting, all the ministers are welcome here. They will come here and witness the Maha Kumbh festivities. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, we will hold the meeting."
In 2019 during Kumbh Mela, he had taken a holy dip along with his ministers, Akhada Parishad President Narendra Giri, and other saints. The cabinet meeting will be held at Triveni Sankul in Arail at 12 noon.
The location was changed to avoid inconvenience to the pilgrims visiting the Sangam. The meeting was initially planned at Mela Authority Auditorium but due to security concerns of VIPs to disturb the movement of the pilgrims, the venue was changed.
