The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a fresh summons to businessman Robert Vadra, the brother-in-law of Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi, directing him to appear for questioning on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in connection with a money laundering investigation tied to a land deal, according to official sources.

Vadra, 56, was initially called for questioning on April 8 but did not appear before the agency.

The ongoing inquiry concerns a property transaction in Shikohpur, Haryana. Authorities plan to record his official statement under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) once he appears, the sources said.

Previously, Vadra has been interrogated by the ED in a separate case involving suspected financial irregularities. His wife, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, currently serves as the Congress Member of Parliament from Wayanad, Kerala.
