Helicopter Returning from Kedarnath Crashes, Rescue Operation Underway

On Sunday morning, a helicopter returning from Kedarnath to Guptkashi met with an accident. District Tourism Development Officer and Heli Service Nodal Officer Rahul Chaubey confirmed that the helicopter belonged to Aryan Aviation and was carrying a pilot, five passengers, and an infant.

It was reported that sudden bad weather in the valley forced the pilot to attempt a safe exit, but the helicopter crashed during the maneuver. Upon receiving the information, NDRF, SDRF, police, and local residents quickly reached the site and began the rescue operation. Search and relief efforts are currently ongoing.
