IndiGo will start direct flights between Delhi and Manchester from November 15, marking the airline’s entry into long-haul international operations from the national capital. The flight will operate four times a week using leased Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

The carrier also announced the launch of flights from Delhi to Denpasar in Indonesia and Krabi in Thailand later this month. Daily services to Denpasar will begin on October 24, while flights to Krabi will start on October 26 with four weekly departures. Airbus A320 family aircraft will be used on both routes, with a refuelling stop in Bhubaneswar for the Denpasar service.

IndiGo plans to increase the frequency of its Delhi–Bangkok flights to double daily starting October 26. In addition, the airline will introduce new daily non-stop flights from Delhi to nine domestic destinations, including Rajkot, Vadodara, Patna, Goa, Shirdi, Nagpur, Nashik, Jabalpur, and Raipur. Direct flights from Delhi to Purnea in Bihar will also begin later this month.

According to the airline, these additions will expand its Delhi network to 21 international and 74 domestic destinations, resulting in more than 1,700 weekly departures. IndiGo said the expansion highlights Delhi Airport’s status as one of its key hubs and supports India’s growth as a global aviation centre.
