The incident occurred as boulders rolled down, crushing vehicles, and blocking highways leading to loss of life.

The BRO officials have reached the spot to clear the debris and boulders from the route to reopen the highway but due to continuous stone pelting rescue operation is hindered. while authorities are actively working to ensure the safety of affected individuals, The death toll is yet to be confirmed.
