Authorities have enhanced the security measures in Uttar Pradesh’s capital city Lucknow for the last Friday prayers of the holy month of Ramadhan, ‘Alvida Namaz’.
the mosques in the city will offer the ‘Alvida namaz’ after a two years gap. In the past, when the country was grappling with sky-high Covid-19 cases, only five people were permitted to offer prayers in a group.
UP police have deployed around 10,000 officers, including Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), around the state.
