The case is of 4th May of Manipur where two communities Meities and Kukis are facing conflicts for racism.
In Manipur, more than half are Meities ( the majority community) while only 43% are Kukis and Nagas.

What was the matter?
All the matter started after Kuki began protesting against Meities' demand of making the Meitie community an official tribe, kukis say a war on drugs waged by the amenities-led government is uprooting their community which Kuki community is blurred and not getting full support, and after making Metei community official tribe Kukis will not able to have their general rights on the land. And all government facilities.

From where the Loop of rape/revenge started
The video is the latest example of rape and assault which is done by taking it as an instrument of violence in conflict which leads to viral revenge attacks.

The rape of two Kuki women was done as a revenge attack for the false claim.
On the 3rd may just after the day of clashes started, A photo with a false claim was released, which shows a woman's body was wrapped in a plastic bag went viral in Churachandpur to show that a Meitie woman was raped and killed by Kuki man. while later it was found that the photo was of the dead body of Ayushi Choudhary ( a girl from Delhi) who was murdered by her parents in November 2022, which leads to the reprisal of violence on Kuki tribal women by Meitie mobs.
Two Kuki women were raped on the 4th of May by men of Meitie and the victim woman was of around  40 years and the other is of 18 years.
The two women were first raped by men and then dragged to a paddy field in Kangpokpi.

Many similar cases were seen in Manipur in the last few months where 6 were known while talking to both communities but not even a single of them was registered as FIR which is emboldening the Rapists.
Two of them are in police custody, and SC's  Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud directed the Centre and Manipur government to take immediate remedial, rehabilitative, and preventive steps and apprise it of the action taken.
