While speaking during the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin reiterated emphatically that the DMK will be coming to power for the seventh time, indicating towards the initiatives of the government as well as the developmental projects.

"I am confident that the DMK will win governance for the seventh time, based on the accomplishments and welfare programs we have implemented. Tamil Nadu receives 42.2% of India's imports of electronics," Stalin said.

Speaking about his present term, Stalin called it "Dravidian Model Government - Part 1," and announced that "Version 2.0 will come in 2026," with even more development.

"What you have witnessed until now is merely Dravidian Model Government Part 1. In 2026, Version 2.0 will come, with a lot more milestones to be covered," he said.

Responding to a suggestion proposed by VCK MLA Sinthanai Selvan, Stalin declared the removal of the term "Colony" from all government documents.

"The term 'Colony' has always been employed in a derogatory sense against Scheduled Castes, symbolizing discrimination and oppression. Thus, it will be totally eliminated from official records, and efforts will be made to disourage its use in day-to-day conversation," he added.

Reasserting the commitment of the state towards law and order, Stalin declared that action against crimes is being taken promptly, with the guilty being immediately arrested. He also stated that September 6 would be marked every year as 'Police Day' to commemorate the police force for its efforts in upholding peace.

"While there is turmoil elsewhere, Tamil Nadu is unshakable. This is not Manipur, Kashmir, or the disaster at the UP Kumbh Mela. This is Tamil Nadu — remember that," Stalin claimed.

Pointing to progress in education, he said Tamil Nadu had the largest number of PhD scholars.

He also mentioned the obstacles faced by the government: "We did not succeed so easily. It was like having a snake above, foxes below, a ditch if you jump, and a wall if you run. With the Union Government on one hand, the Governor on another, and money pressures piling up, we have still brought out outstanding achievements."
