Modi scheduled to Inaugurate Ministry of Commerce’s new premise, Vanijya Bhawan today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to inaugurate Vanijya Bhawan, a new premise in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. the inauguration ceremony is scheduled for 10.30 am. 

Vanijya Bhawan is constructed in the vicinity of India Gate. The newly constructed building’s architecture is designed in a smart way to incorporate several qualities including energy saving.

  Vanijya Bhawan will house offices of two departments, that is, the Department of Commerce and the Department for promotion of Industry and Internal trade. Both the departments come under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry,  

Also, PM Modi will launch a portal, the National Import Export Record for Yearly Analysis of Trade (NIRYAT). The portal will serve as a platform for stakeholders that will provide information about foreign trades.
