The National Investigation Agency (NIA) launched raids on Friday at five different locations spread across Bihar, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh, as part of a crackdown on a terror network allegedly operated by Pakistan in connection with the ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’ case. The coordinated raids were aimed at apprehending individuals suspected of planning and executing terror activities in India.

Acting on credible intelligence inputs, the NIA carried out the synchronized operations in the early hours of the morning. The locations targeted included three in Bihar’s capital city of Patna, one in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad, and another in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow. The raids were conducted with the assistance of local police forces and paramilitary personnel, ensuring a swift and efficient operation.

The 'Ghazwa-e-Hind’ case, which has been under investigation for several months, refers to an alleged conspiracy by Pakistan-based terrorist organizations to wage a holy war against India. The NIA has been meticulously collecting evidence and intelligence to dismantle the terror network and thwart any potential attacks. The agency suspects that the arrested individuals were involved in planning and executing acts of violence and sabotage in various parts of the country.

During the raids, the NIA teams seized a significant amount of incriminating evidence, including electronic devices, documents, and communication equipment. The seized materials will undergo forensic analysis to extract any pertinent information that could aid the ongoing investigation. The NIA also conducted extensive searches at the residences and hideouts of the suspects to gather additional evidence.

According to sources, several individuals were apprehended during the raids, and their identities are being verified. The detained individuals will be interrogated thoroughly to unravel their involvement in the terror network and gather intelligence regarding their handlers and other operatives. The NIA will also explore possible links to international terrorist organizations and their sponsors.

The NIA has been collaborating with intelligence agencies both domestically and internationally to gather actionable information related to the ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’ case. The agency has been actively tracking the movement of terror operatives and sharing intelligence inputs with state police forces to preempt any untoward incidents.

Officials familiar with the investigation have stated that the raids are a significant breakthrough in the ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’ case and will provide valuable leads to further dismantle the terror network. The operation sends a strong message to terrorist organizations attempting to operate within India’s borders, reaffirming the government’s commitment to maintaining national security and thwarting any attempts to destabilize the country.

The detained individuals will be produced before the respective courts, where the NIA will seek their remand for further interrogation. As the investigation progresses, the NIA is expected to tighten its grip on the terror network, ensuring that all those involved in planning and executing terror activities face the full force of the law.

The NIA has urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. The agency has assured that every effort is being made to safeguard the country from the threats posed by terrorist elements and their handlers.
