India has achieved great success in 'Operation Sindh' conducted by the Indian Army in response to Pakistan's provocations along the Line of Control. It is said that about 35 to 40 members of the Pakistan Army were killed in this operation conducted between May 7 and 10. This information was given by the Indian Army in a press briefing on Sunday.
The Indian Army also suffered losses in this operation. Five Indian soldiers were martyred. Paying tribute to them, the army officers said, "The nation will never forget their sacrifice. We stand with their families."
Air Marshal AK Bharti, Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, Major General SS Sharma and Vice Admiral AN Pramod were present at this special briefing. They said that India's counterattack was carried out quickly and accurately to respond to the Pakistani attack on the border.
The army said that more than 100 terrorists were killed during ‘Operation Sindh’. Several of them were ‘high-value targets’, meaning those whom India had been looking for for a long time. The list includes the names of notorious militants like Yusuf Azhar, Abdul Malik Rauf and Mudassir Ahmed.
General Rajiv Ghai said, “We identified nine terrorist camps after analyzing the intelligence reports. Then we targeted them with highly accurate weapons.”
According to the Indian army, “The enemy did not expect such a quick and strong response. Therefore, the operation was successful and strategically important.”
‘Operation Sindh’ has given the message that India is ready to take strong action at any time to stop Pakistan’s aggression on the border. The entire country is with them, respecting the bravery and sacrifice of the army.
