Over 4.14 Lakh Devotees Undertake Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025; Amit Shah Hails Collective Effort for Safe and Smooth Pilgrimage

New Delhi: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah praised the outstanding efforts of security forces, the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, the Jammu and Kashmir administration, and volunteer groups. They all worked to ensure that the Shri Amarnathji Yatra this year was conducted safely and efficiently. In a post on the social media platform X, Shri Shah shared that more than 4.14 lakh devotees visited Shri Amarnathji in 2025. He described the shrine as a symbol of the enduring tradition and faith of Indian culture, where people seek the darshan of Baba Barfani.

The annual Shri Amarnathji Yatra is one of the most respected pilgrimages in India.
