Just hours after India's Operation Sindoor, a strong military operation against terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), Pakistan broke the ceasefire, opening fire along the Line of Control (LoC). The Indian Army struck back with force, making it amply clear that aggression will not be tolerated.
Pakistan's provocation followed India's retaliatory precision missile strikes that targeted several terror launchpads along the border — camps suspected to be occupied by outfits responsible for recent attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. Though the Pakistani army attempted to retaliate by opening fire across the border, the Indian Army's counterattack was prompt, precise, and crushing.
"Any effort to encourage or harbor terrorists will be met strongly," an Indian Army official said, validating that Indian forces caused enormous damage to enemy positions while maintaining zero civilian casualties on the Indian side.
The LoC is now bracing but in complete control, with Indian forces on high alert. High-level security briefings are being held in Delhi, and defense leaders have confirmed that India stands prepared for any escalation.
