Pakistani forces attempt to struck the Golden Temple

Amritsar,Punjab,May 19 2025:Golden Temple was targeted by Pakistani Forces after Indian strikes against Pakistan. 

Pakistan has targeted Amritsar’s Golden Temple with drones and missiles on the night of 8 May and 9 May in retaliation amid India strikes against terrorist on Pakistan and PoK, says Major General Kartik C Seshadri, General Officer Commanding (GOC).

He further added although Pakistan has no legal military targets but has attempted to strike common citizens and the religious places of India 

The attack was on the early hours of May 8 when Pakistan launched drones and long missiles during the time of darkness . 

To prevent the attack additional modern air defence assets are mobilised for covering the Golden temple and at the time of attack Indian army intercepted and destroyed all the threats .

Though , ceasefire was declared by both the nation on May 10 .Tensions remain high along the Line of Control. Indian forces continue to monitor the situation and maintain high alert across border states.
