Rudraprayag Secures Second Position in State Under Twenty-Point Programme

Under the able guidance and strong administrative leadership of District Magistrate Dr. Saurabh Gaharwar, Rudraprayag district continues to reach new heights of progress. Recently, Rudraprayag secured the second position in the state-level rankings released by the Planning Department and Directorate of Economics & Statistics for the excellent implementation of the Twenty-Point Programme.

This achievement is the result of the timely and effective execution of various public welfare schemes being run in the district. The district administration has been making consistent and serious efforts to ensure that key public-interest schemes of the Central and State Governments, covered under the Twenty-Point Programme, reach the common people.

District Magistrate Dr. Saurabh Gaharwar personally reviews the progress of these schemes weekly and instructs concerned departmental officials to ensure that the benefits of these programmes are delivered to eligible and needy beneficiaries on time.

On this occasion, DM Saurabh Gaharwar stated that this accomplishment is the result of the collective efforts of all officers and staff members of Rudraprayag. He acknowledged their honesty and dedication in ensuring the timely delivery of government schemes to the public. He emphasized that the administration will continue to work with the same commitment in the future to elevate the district to new heights of development.

Expressing joy over this achievement, District Economics and Statistics Officer Sandeep Bhatt said it is a matter of pride for the district. He credited the success to the disciplined and sincere implementation of the Twenty-Point Programme at the grassroots level under the guidance of the DM, which ultimately earned Rudraprayag the second position in the entire state.
